3 Days of Intensive Training: Hands-on instruction in hair physiology, botanical chemistry, liquid formulations, emulsions, and cream architecture.
Full Formulation Kit: Complete with home lab equipment, PPE, containers, and materials needed to formulate all products.
Full Laboratory Access & Materials: All raw ingredients, botanical extracts, equipment, safety gear, and packaging components provided for all lab sessions.
Take-Home Formulations: You will compound, package, and take home your own custom 3-piece botanical haircare line, plus receive additional formulations for each product to assist with customization.
Comprehensive Workbook & Resource Guide: Detailed formulation templates, ingredient reference guides, and Batch Manufacturing Sheet guidelines.
Certificate of Completion: Awarded upon presentation of your final 3-piece bespoke system on Day 3.

No payment is due now. This step is just to understand if the residency is the right fit for you and to let you tell your story.

If accepted, you’ll get an email with:

You will have 5 days from the acceptance email to complete enrollment:
Full pay: $2,197 (or $1097 for alumni)
3-pay plan: $497 deposit + 2 payments of $875
Your seat is only reserved once the first payment is received. Formulation kits are shipped once your payment/deposit payment processes

The application itself is free and non-binding. Payment is only required after you’re accepted and you decide to move forward. This keeps the process low-pressure while ensuring every resident is fully committed before we prepare their lab kits.

Because this is an intensive 3-day hands-on lab workshop, live attendance on all three days is required to complete your formulations and earn your Certificate of Completion. However, in case of an emergency,l let us know and we will work woth you.

No. Each resident receives a Formulation Kit shipped to your door. We cover surfactants, emulsifiers, oils, herbs, butters, preservatives, as well as basic tools like pH strips, beakers, a scale, mixers and stirrers. Standard PPE is also included. It’s everything you’ll need to make all the products in your capsule.

No. The course is designed for dedicated beginners and intermediate formulators. I explain the science and Ayurvedic concepts in plain language, then show you how to apply them step by step to real haircare formulas.

This course teaches you how to formulate safer, more stable products and how to design a cohesive product line. You are responsible for following the cosmetic regulations, labeling laws, and business requirements in your country or region, but you’ll understand how to approach product development and business formation like a professional.
